For an air jet loom, procurement teams should review the required fabric construction, reed width, shedding arrangement, number of colours, weft feeders, compressed-air requirements, electrical specification and included accessories. A mill installing several air jet looms should also consider its compressor capacity, air distribution, operating space and maintenance arrangements.

For a water jet loom, the buyer should identify the intended yarn and fabric, required width, shedding system, water-related operating requirements, control arrangement and accessories. When reviewing a used or refurbished machine, verify the actual width and machine configuration from its nameplate, photographs and technical documents. A proposed modification or width conversion should be assessed separately from the specification of an existing machine.

New, used and refurbished weaving machines

A buyer may approach us for a brand-new Chinese loom, a used machine, or a refurbished loom. Each option requires a different review.

For a new loom, ask for the exact model, width, year or production status, technical configuration, accessories and shipment scope. Confirm which items are included with the basic machine and which are optional. A catalogue photograph may show equipment that is not included in every quotation.

For a used loom, establish its manufacturer, complete model, year, location, working width and condition. Ask for photographs of the actual machine, its nameplate and important components. Running videos and inspection information can help the buyer evaluate a specific machine, provided the material clearly relates to the machine being offered.

For a refurbished loom, the quotation should explain what refurbishment has been completed or will be carried out. It should identify replaced components, inspection steps and included accessories. “Refurbished” should not be used as a substitute for a written work scope.

Air jet loom spare parts

The spare parts pictured in this brochure represent the broad range of inquiries that arise after a loom is installed. For air jet machines, mills may need components associated with air delivery, weft insertion, detection, control, motion and fabric handling.

Examples of inquiry categories include main nozzles, relay nozzles, solenoid valves, feeders, sensors, cutters, control cards, electronic boards, motors, bearings, rollers and connectors. The exact part varies by machine brand, model, year and installed options. A request for a “nozzle” or “card” without further details is often insufficient for a reliable quotation.

If your mill operates a Picanol, Toyota, Tsudakoma, Itema or Chinese air jet loom, send the full model and the printed number on the required part. Also send photographs of the complete component and its connection or mounting position. We can then check whether an original, supplier-made compatible or other specified replacement is available. The proposed part’s origin and status should be clear in the quotation.

Water jet loom spare parts

Water jet machines require their own model-specific mechanical and electronic parts. A mill may ask about water jet nozzles, pumps and related components, cutters, sensors, feeders, rollers, control items, bearings or cloth handling parts, depending on the installed machine.

The buyer should provide the loom brand, model, year, part code and quantity. For an item in contact with water, photographs and dimensions may be particularly useful when different versions share a similar appearance. If the old part has no readable number, send photographs of its installation position and any manual reference or sample available.

Components around the weaving process

A weaving mill’s needs extend beyond the principal loom.
